How can I join the meditation class here?
Answer: You can simply come to the class every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM without the need to call or make a reservation.

Is there a cost for attending the Sunday meditation class?
Answer: There is no cost to attend the class, but you are welcome to make a donation to support us.

I do not follow Buddhism. Can I still participate in the meditation class?
Answer: Regardless of your religious beliefs, you are welcome to practice meditation, and there is no requirement to change your religion or beliefs.

How should I dress for the meditation class here?
Answer: Wear modest and comfortable attire suitable for meditation.

  • Loose-fitting shirts, not low-cut, in white or light colors, possibly with a fresh pattern.
  • Loose-fitting pants, not shorter than three-quarters.

Do I need to bring my own chair or cushion to the meditation class?
Answer: No need to bring anything. We provide both chairs and cushions for your use. If you have specific seating or back support needs, feel free to bring your own.

Besides Sundays, are there other days I can come for meditation here?
Answer: During the week, you can attend meditation sessions from Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. If you wish to come at a different time, please contact us in advance.

Can I have a conversation with the monk? When is the best time?
Answer: You can drop by for a chat, ask questions, or seek advice from the monk on weekdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It’s advisable to contact us beforehand in case the monk is away.

What meditation techniques are used here?
Answer: We practice meditation by relaxing the body, letting go of tension, and then focusing on the comfort, emptiness, visualizations, or recitations that bring relaxation and ease to the meditator.

How do I get to the meditation centre?
Answer: You can drive or take an Uber using GPS directions from this link: [Google Maps]. Alternatively, you can take the myCity bus, get off at Table View station, and walk 200 meters further.
