No need to take seriously

Today, the teaching monks are sharing some insights on meditation. Consider it like a workout for your mind – similar to playing badminton or football with friends. Don’t stress or take it too seriously; it’s not your second job. Instead, treat it as a pleasant activity, like a game you enjoy with friends.

Here’s the thing: In physical sports, you need to move your body and train hard, right? Well, in the mental sport of meditation, it’s a bit different. Just take a break, let go of every thought and concern, and gently guide your mind back to the present. As your mind relaxes, it becomes clearer and lighter. A calm mind is a happy and worry-free mind.

No need to strive for perfection; making mistakes is absolutely okay. The aim is to relax and relish the moment. It differs from physical sports where you work on your body and skills. In meditation, simply let your mind unwind and calm down.

So, I hope everyone can engage in meditation effectively and enjoy every second of that peaceful experience!
