On August 21st, 2022 the monastic community of Cape Town Meditation Centre had arranged an auspicious ceremony to establish the Presiding Buddha Image on the throne inside the new meditation hall.
The ceremony started when the president monk had arrive and led all participants to pay respect the Triple Gem. After that all laity had requested for 5 precepts, listened to the Lord Buddha’s Mantra chanting from the monastic community, and meditated together by following Laung Por Dhammachayo’s meditation guidance.
Next. the benevolent representatives had delivered verses to offer the Presiding Buddha image to the monastic community. All the monks then carried the Buddha image to enshrine on the throne, and led every lay people to pay homage to the Buddha image through Phra Dhammakaya chanting.
Finally, the ceremony ended after the lay representatives had delivered the verses of offering meals to monks and had received the blessing from the president monk.
