Meditation Course session #2

On Saturday afternoon, the teaching monk guides the step of meditation. First, we must prepare our mood to be delighted or calm by doing some activity, such as recalling our good deeds, seeing nature, letting things go, and so on. At this time the teaching monk let everyone draw a picture of “The things that make you happy”. This activity helps the participants to adjust their moods to be joyful.

Second, the teaching monk invites the participants to do an experiment. The staff gives cups of cool water to everyone. Then the monk let the participants cling the cup to their forehead, and neck, and drink the water. To show how to focus the soft feeling on the body, especially in the stomach, which is the center of the body or the home of the mind.

Before practicing meditation, the participants are stretching to relax body.

The participants meditate together and reach the calmness and peaceful.

This meditation course consists of 6 class between 21 Jan – 25 Feb 2023. If you are interested to join this course, we have a next course which schedule on 8 April – 13 May 2023. And we will open for enquire on 8 February.
