Today, the teaching monk reminds everyone about the principle of meditation which has to balance both relaxation and consciousness. Especially relaxation, if you are in an uncomfortable or sore body and you hurry to meditate without adjusting it would be like driving at high speed and suddenly hit the break. It will give you a hard time, you may experience tension, a wandering mind, and frustration.
So in order to prevent that, it would be wise to stretch your body and calm your mind down by taking a walk, listening to nature, or taking a shower. Just take your time to slow the pace of your life and when you feel comfortable and slow down you can slowly close your eyes and start your meditation.
