We invite you to join our peaceful and welcoming Sunday meditation sessions in Cape Town. Here’s everything you need to know to get started:
How to Join
Simply visit the Cape Town Meditation Centre at 10:00 AM every Sunday. No pre-registration is required—just come in, and we’ll guide you through a brief registration process upon arrival.

What to Wear
We recommend wearing comfortable, light-colored, or white clothing. Polite, modest attire ensures a calm atmosphere for everyone.
Do I Need to Bring Anything?
No need to bring a cushion! We have all the meditation supplies you’ll need.
Cost
Free of charge. While there’s no fee to attend, any donations are warmly appreciated and go towards maintaining the center.

*Please note that first-time visitors are asked to attend a Sunday Meditation Class at least once before joining our weekday sessions.

Some of the people who start meditating may find themselves struggling from the lack of understanding the true meaning of meditation.

In practice, there are some steps that you could take to help you relax and bring your mind back to yourself.

Three types are composed of tense, loose, and just right. It is important to know which types you really are so you could practice accordingly to those types.

Start to meditate
To close your Eyes Please pay attention to your eyes closing. Close them as gently as you can. Let your upper eye lids fall down slowly and naturally. Your upper and lower eyelids will not quite touch. You can feel that a little light can pass through little gap between your upper and lower eyelids.

Comfort
There is another important principle. To meditate, you need to know how to be comfortable. Any uncomfortable condition will not support our mind to be still.
