The nature of our mind
What is the mind?
The Mind is a kind of living element, based inside the physical body for as long as a person is alive. It is not identified with the heart, because the heart is merely a muscle in the body. But it is a kind of energy, ethereal and invisible to the eye or any type of empirical instrumentation.
The mind are controlling the movement of the body. So even though you have a healthy body. If you have a weak mind you could not do anything because it will derive your power out of you. And make many excuses to not do anything.
4 nature of our minds
Our minds impact almost every part of our lives and that is the reason why it is so important for us to train our minds. Usually, our minds will have 4 natures which makes training becomes harder.

- Distracted: The mind struggles to fulfill desires and succumb to emotions just as a fish out of water struggles to get back in.
- Restless: The mind does not stay with any emotion for long, but jumps from one to the next just as a monkey jumps from branch to branch.
- Hard to keep in one place: It is as hard to get the mind to stay in one place or to stay still without thinking as it is to get an infant to stay still.
- Hard to control: To prevent the mind from thinking about particular things can be as hard as keeping back cows from grazing a pasture.
However, we could still train it with the right method which is meditation. When you are meditating, you are not trying or forcing your mind to be still. You simply let it take a rest by relaxing every part of your body. Then, bring back your attention to the easiest point that one could think of. It could be any place the universe, nature, your home, good deeds that you have done, part of your body, or inside your stomach at the center of the body.
