Class 4: Saturday, September 27th, 2025
Various easy-to-follow meditation techniques can help you quiet your mind, improve focus, and cultivate a deep sense of peace, giving you a valuable tool for life.

The core message was simple:
The Nature of our Mind naturally seeks clarity and purity. To clear your mind, simply empty it.

Beginning with Connection and Joy
The day began with wonderful icebreakers filled with laughter and a friendly atmosphere. Everyone felt relaxed and connected from the very start. A memorable activity was the Blowing Bubbles Game 🫧. This symbolic exercise allowed teens to reflect on their worries and the act of releasing them—just like watching bubbles float away and vanish. It was a perfect blend of fun and meaning!

Understanding the Nature of the Mind
We explored how the mind works with the “Favorite Sweet” game 🍬. As each teen tried to remember their friends’ choices, the mind quickly became heavy and confused with too much “data.” The key takeaway? When they simply let go and stopped remembering, they instantly felt light, relaxed, and free.

This beautifully illustrates that our mind longs to be clear, pure, and calm, much like a phone needs its data cleared to run efficiently. We all need space and stillness!

Discovering Your Inner Home
Next, we played the “Home of Mind” game 🏡. Each teen discovered a safe, internal space where they could recharge and feel protected. A powerful realization emerged: when we share this peaceful inner energy with others, the entire group benefits and feels happy together.

Stillness and Self-Love
We concluded the day with a Happy Meditation 🧘—a peaceful moment of stillness, calm, and inner joy. The teaching monk then shared closing insights on mindfulness, explaining how simply being aware of our thoughts and feelings naturally brings clarity.

Smiles, deep reflection, and peace filled the hall. It was a gentle reminder that happiness truly begins within.

Topic: Integrating Mindfulness into Daily Life

Class 5: Saturday, October 11th, 2025
What an incredible finish to our Mindfulness Course for Teenagers! We explored the most important topic of all: Integrating Mindfulness into Daily Life. It was a beautiful and powerful session where our teens showed off all the resilience and calm they’ve built over the last few months.

Key Highlights from Our Final Class:

Pantomime Fun:
We started with a laugh! Teens used Charades to act out simple mindful actions like ‘Brushing Teeth,’ ‘Listening,’ and the powerful concept of ‘Letting Go’ of worries.

Real-Life Wisdom:
The highlight was the Group Walk and Pair Sharing. Teens bravely shared their most joyful moments and, critically, shared which mindfulness tool, they used to navigate challenging times this week. Hearing those success stories was truly inspirational!

Finding the Centre:
We concluded with the final teaching from the monk on “The path of happiness” and a grounding Middle Way Meditation to find that calm, safe space right in the center of the body.

Congratulations to every teen who completed this 5-session journey! You have earned your Certificate of Completion and, more importantly, a powerful set of tools to live a calmer, happier, and more present life.
