Cultivating a Positive and Growth Mindset : Mindful’ Teens Class 2 Recap

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, Cape Town Meditation Centre hosted the second session of the Mindfulness Course for Teenagers. This class focused on the psychological and spiritual foundations of a Growth Mindset.

The curriculum was designed to bridge the gap between internal meditation and external habits. In the “Bottles of Mind” workshop, students observed how consistent positive input naturally dilutes and removes negative mental clutter. This was paired with the “My Strength & Challenge” session, where participants analyzed their personal hurdles through the lens of resilience.

A unique component of this class was the “Clean-in & Clean-out” concept. Participants practiced Sabai Meditation (internal cleaning) and transitioned immediately into Mindful Cleaning (external cleaning), reinforcing the Buddhist principle that our environment reflects our state of mind. The day concluded with Middle Way Meditation and a dedicated period for Gratitude Reflection, helping the teens anchor their new insights into their daily lives.
